Hello
just purchased a second USSC 5660 and was wondering what this airflow valve does ?? what should I be doing with it etc??
Thanks for any info as I have learned tons from this forum!!!

Helps you fine tune the burn by adjusting the amount of air being drawn through your stove depending mostly on how good or bad pellet brand is. Good pellets might burn to fast with the butterfly wide open sending heat out your exhaust poorer pellets require more air to burn properly. Service manual attached good read along with the owners manual bob bare posted.

"The air intake pipe is equipped with a butterfly valve that is preset to maximum air intake. For optimum operating effi
ciency you may calibrate the butterfly valve to provide less intake air. (See Figure 7) Caution: Too much restriction
on the intake air will cause dirtier burn, therefore, will require more frequent cleaning."
