Ussc 6041tp issue

2 issues this year I'm having
The room fan will cut on and off on its own.
And if I go above setting 3 and choose 4 or 5 it eventually gives me a error 1 code and shuts down.

Maybe bad high or low limit switch?
If so how do I test them?

Err 1 high temp switch has tripped .
I would pull the convection fan clean , oil and test

What johneh said, plus have you run the USSC 6041 board test? If not go to the sticky at the top of the forum, click USSC Trouble Shooting and look for the pdf that says 6041 manual, the test instructions are in it.
