Resolute (1978) has a broken thermostat assy, I can't budge the thermostat screw holding on the cover. Any info on replacing that assy? Thanks, Chas

Soak the screw in PB Blaster or Kroil and let it sit overnight. Then try some hard taps on the end of the screwdriver with a hammer to break up the corrosion on the screw threads. If nothing else works, drill out the screw and retap once the cover is removed.
