I have a pellet stove that sits in a place that it is not centered in the room or the wall. It drives me crazy. I know why the previous home owner did it. Easy install of chimney pipe. Pipe on the unit is on the left if looking at front and they just offest stove to pipe hole on wall ( hole on wall is centered).
THE QUESTION:
Am I able to move this stove over to center and repipe it without cutting a new hole through the wall? The pipe needs to go over about 10 inches and up about 2.5.( could possibly put blocks under stove to get correct height) There is about 12 inches from rear of stove to the wall I could possibly get another 4 inches between wall and stove. Currently using 4 inch double wall pipe. I know a straight shot is most efficient but how many curves if any are allowed? It only has one bend behind the wall until the outside. Any suggestions are welcome on how to get this centered with as little demo/major construction. Thanks everyone!
