If anyone is questioning their stove's heating performance, buy one package of pressed wood bricks and see if that does the trick. Wow, these things pack a punch and put out real heat. Burn a long long time as well. Definitely worth using on those bitterly cold nights if you really need a little extra performance.

So you are saying if your stove top thermometer shows a reading that seems too low, these things will help get it up?

Where did you purchase these bricks? A bit to the west of you, over towards Intercourse?

And if it goes for more than 4 hours, you don't even have to see a doctor.

Yes, and you may notice an increase in cat activity.

Wrong thread by the title... I thought this was about taking Viagra and then sitting in front of a fire with your mate.... Never mind...

Is this good for night wood and morning wood?

They should name those bricks "Re-kindling".

Gives new meaning to Presto-Log.

My wood stove doesn't need Viagra, thank you very much.

What if my stove is female?

My stove is already rock hard, thank you very much.

Anything longer than 6 hours, you may suffer backache, flushing, numbness sensation and shortness of breath...but what the hey...

It's been a fun day, but time to put this one to bed. If nothing else to let the wood pile recover.
