Hello everyone,

Thanks for letting me join a great forum. I recently inherited a really old coal stove, which I believe is commonly called a parlor stove?

The stove is an Oxford 714 and reads "Oxford Ventilator" on the front. It is complete and free from cracks or other damage.

Can anyone advise the year of this unit? Is it common? I am going to try and determine a value so that I can sell it.

Thanks for any help.

Not common. It needs a proper cleanup, repaint and nickel replating, but looks nice.
