Thank you for your time. I have a 50's Wedgewood with the double burners, 1 simmer and the main burner. It was NG I need LP. The existing holes were #75 (simmer) and #55 (main). I drilled the 75 out to #65 (should be a little under 9,000 btu) then soldered the 55 shut and drilled to #86 (around 1000 btu). When I turned on the first pair, the simmer seems ok though slightly low, but the main burner does not come on at all. It was a straight shot in -no regulator to stove burners. Any suggestions?

Did you clean the gas line BEHIND the burner orifice?
That's a location that spiders love to make their nests...
A cotton swab generally works very well, as those nests
are not too far from the orifice.

Hello Daksy-Attached is a pic showing the 2 ports, the one on the right is the working simmer (orifice removed drill w/#86) and the one on the left has what appears to be a dispersing 3 blade fin for the main burner which will not light (drilled at #65)

DUH-turns out I have to turn knob 1/4 to left to light inner simmer burner then 180 to light the main. My orifice hole at #65 is wrong for both the rear (smaller) and the front burner. Please view photos showing air partially open and all the way open (not quite as yellow) on both burners. Any suggestions on hole sizing alteration?

Also-stamped on the tag near the model number is 24000 18000 and 9000. I do not know if these refer to-the broiler, the oven, the larger front burner or smaller rear or the griddle in the middle. It seems that the front and rear burners would not be 18000 and 9000 respectively with 24000 for the griddle. With the #86 (simmer) at 1000 btu and #65 (main) 8500 btu then combined they are 9500 and should have worked at least on the smaller rear burner correct? It appears too much btu from the pictures correct?
