Was wondering if this would ever happen

So I was splitting a decent sized round of red oak (about 2ft diameter). Had a little trouble getting it up onto the splitter (tsc husky 22 ton, in horizontal mode), but I got it up there. Then I started the splitter, and as it was going, the splitter tipped on end! I guess I had too much weight up there. Lesson learned

I've learned to have mine hooked up to the pickup when doing large rounds. It's wanted to tip, but hasn't yet.

I have a crank down wheel ( trailer jack) on the business end of mine. -problem solved

I roll up a spare round and wedge it underneath.

The support leg on the splitter I'm borrowing is bent pretty badly, so I already have a big round under the trailer tongue to hold it up. I just shoot a couple wood screws into it at an angle to "tie" it onto the splitter. No problems.
