This white ash was dropped on the ice months ago. Since then, the ice melted and last week's storms brought the lake up 4 feet higher than in the pic. The trunk was submerged and barely floated. My question is: will it take an extra year to dry once C/S/S before it is good to burn? Has anyone rescued waterlogged fuel for firewood and how much longer (if any) did the wood need to dry after being under water for a week?
