We own a VC manufactured in 2000. It is a catalytic model that has a n entrance hole for the probe in the back of the stove. Recently our original analog catalytic temperature meter stopped working. The maker of that meter (Condar)no longer makes it but I still need a way of monitoring whether the com buster has engaged. Any thermocouple linked to a meter would have to have a few feet of wire between them as the probe would be in the back of the stove but the temp meter would be mounted to a wall near the stove. Surely I am not the first person to have run into this problem. Has someone out there got a solution?
