Never seen this in 10 years around my property. What the hell is this? There is 3 of them and about 1 ft each

My guess is tent caterpillars. They like black cherry trees in my neck of the woods.
 
Caterpillar nests, rip it open and they'll all fall out. We used to burn them with a torch on a stick to get rid of them.
