Metal that snuck in a bag or brand of pellets then melted. Not sure the temp of a burn pot, just a guess.
 
My guess would be reminants from welding. A had a few little balls in the burn pot.
 
Mr. Spock's answer seems more logical.

Think you are going out there crosss cut but thouht id mention I had a friend up in w bath and used to go there often.
