I want to put a wood stove in my basement. My house has forced hot air with a zone upstairs
And a zone in the basement.
Where I want to put the stove, there is a return duct close by tha
I think I will relocate.
My questions is, is there any risk of carbon monoxide
Going to the return duct, regardless of where it is, making its
Way to the air handler and then getting supplied to the upstairs?
Is the risk mitigated if I turn the downstairs zone off where the
Stove wil be , and close the supplies and block off the return duct?
Thanks
