What to Buy/Where to place thermometer on Regency

Hey guys and gals,

I have a new Regency i2400 insert. I want a thermometer so I can learn this stove. What is the best kind to get? Also where should I be placing it on I2400 insert? Thanks in advance for the help.

So nobody runs a thermometer on an Regency insert??

That is a tough one. I would get a Condar stove top magnetic thermometer and try placing it above the left or right door corner.
