Pellet supply houses that sell pellets as their primary or only source of incomeInteresting: the Lowes in Worcester, MA, says they're going to start stocking them year-round after this past winter's supply/demand madness. An employee told me last week. Do any other stores offer pellets all year?

Start checking the local store prices online. Sometimes easier and cheaper as long you know what they have on hand as far as brands.Menards here has them too, $385/ton. The few bags on the shelf were Mivhigan Wood Fuel which burned good for me last year. Thinking of maybe getting 3 or 4 ton this week while I can get the 11% mail in rebate.
I did check Lowes too, 4.99 a bag with no discounts. Maybe an uninformed,ed employee though. Would think they'd be cheaper by the ton.

Do you know how long that discount will last? You can get a ton of GS at Lowe's for $215.14 by me. Buy online and use the coupon code "470000000021460" for 10% off, and then either pay for delivery or pick up in person...
TSC stocks them year round. Lowes and HD traditionally consider them a seasonal item and don't stock them all year. About a week ago, I started to see large on-hand quantities at Lowes in this region, so it looks like they are starting to get shipments. If you look on the Lowes and HD websites, they both provide the capability to check stock at stores based on zip code. The Lowes website is much better at this than the HD website. Worst case, stop in at your local store or call them to ask. Beware - chances are, you will get a lot of blank stares. In my experience, asking folks at box stores about wood pellet availability, prices, or brands is like inviting a live performance of Abbott and Costello's "Who's On First". Honestly, you are better off going to the store and observing the inventory with your own eyes.Do any other stores offer pellets all year?

You also if your order online use a site like fatwallet.com and get another 4% off. Every little bit counts...

Code no work for me. Get Error -54. Called Customer Service they said 3rd party codes will 'not' work. Only codes from them that come in mail or email. Did that code actually work for you?
Lots of coupon code info on here. Lowes has a lot of problems with controlling coupon codes probably not a good idea to call them. Ive used some 10% off codes multiple times that they have mailed. me. I just tried 470000000021460 worked fine for me its listed on this link.

Strange - It applies the 10% discount in shopping cart but when I check out it gives error code 54 and will not go through...
I used it Sunday to buy a bunch of fluorescent shop lights online and it worked fine. I just plugged it in for pellets now and am as far along as the payment page with no errors. Sorry--not sure what the issue it but code still appears valid...
