Pretty much done with firewood so switching out a 40yo Fisher woodstove for a freestanding LP gas stove and looking for recommendations on which brand to buy. House is 1000 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and pretty well insulated. Am in NorCal coastal mountains so coldest it usually gets here at night is 30s, once in a great while 20s. Looking for something more on the premium side with good turn down, remote/wireless temp & on/off control and operation w/o power in case of power failure (blower would be nice to have but not needed in the event of no power). Also do like the three sided glass stoves. Looking for a reliable brand with decent support as I only want to do this once. Would vent through the roof and replace existing stovepipe as needed as shown in the photo.
Local dealer features Jotul and Hearthstone but also sell Kozy, Regency and Valor. Hearthstone stoves looks ok but have seen negative reports on support. Appreciate any info on what to select.
