Which way way should the crimped end face on an increaser?

Hi,

Going from 6" stove pipe to 8" chimney. Going to use an increaser that will attach at the chimney. Everything/everyone says crimped end facing towards the stove. But, for example, Imperial's increaser has the crimped end going the other way: https://www.imperialgroup.ca/produc...es-accessories/reducers-increasers/increaser/

Just want to double check.

Yes, the crimped goes end toward the stove. Look for a decreaser or reducer.
