I recently removed a gas insert from my upstairs fireplace. It was a pile of junk to say the least.

My question, can I use the Chimney Liner from the gas stove for my wood insert? Or must I go buy a new one?

The pipe is pretty small....so I'm guessing no, but I have never seen a wood liner so I don't know..

Thanks!
Dustin

That's kinda what I was thinking.....I love this website!

Your going to need a stainless steel liner, the standard in the industry for flex pipe is .005 and 316ti.. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I am a manufacture of flex pipe.
