Winter is coming

Supposed to get upwards of 18" of snow tonight/tomorrow followed by temps dropping below 0 early next week. Fall is over.

Cubex on stand by if it gets much colder. But the GT's are doing just fine for this weather.

We are expecting 9" tonight(just a dustin to the maine folk). Snow blower is gassed and ready for duty. Hit the store today for some extra munchies and brews. Should be good till Sunday.

my extra stash of Cubex arrived today they called and asked if they could deliver today instead of monday because of the storm .... that was fine by me! even humped it in the cellar for me pretty good service Id say !

Been snowing here since 4PM.....28 degrees. The GT are doing just fine by me too....70 in the great room.

me too , had to turn my stove up from low (1) to 2 last night when it hit 23F .

You guys up north have ALL the fun! We got about 3" right now and the wind she is a blowin'. Stove humming along, put the snow tires on the truck last evening and have the snow blower gassed up with an fresh oil change and new spark plug. Farmer's Almanac said it would be mild here till Christmas, then all hell breaks loose with cold weather and lots of snow...

Yeah, here we go. Off to work in a few minutes, then home tonight to clean up the mess. Most likely another cleaning Friday before work with 10-16" forecast in this area.

Last of the Fireside Ultra went through the hopper, deep cleaning last night and MWP softies burning now. Just under 2 ton Spruce Pointes in reserve if the MWP dont cut the cold stuff.

Yeah, here we go. Off to work in a few minutes, then home tonight to clean up the mess. Most likely another cleaning Friday before work with 10-16" forecast in this area.

Yep, Using up the vacation time(we have a use it or loose it policy). Too busy to take time off in the fall this year. I'd rather work now and have the time in better weather.

Slept in this morning, But should have got up and cleared the snow. Turning to rain and its all sloppy now. 8 inches of mushy slop. Spent more time clearing the blower chute then actually moving snow. I think I earned my next couple a brews, I'll have one for you too!

Looks like the sofa and a few movies to round out this day. There goes my waist line again!

Nice, hope that cold brew you had for me did the trick ! Also hope the movies had plenty of explosions and action, or were they chick flicks?

Cleaned up the 12 inches and now its snowing again, so another cleaning in the AM before work, hopefully a light one though. That will make 3 cleanings in 24 hours. Damn this is sounding like 2 winters ago....my aching back cant do that again for a whole winter !

I hear ya on the use it or lose it vacation time. Today I put in for next week off. That will burn 3 of the 5 days I need to use or lose.
