We just got back from visiting our oldest son and family in South Bend, In. One day we went to Potato Creek State Park with the grandchildren. Looking at the trees there I got real envious of those of you that cut in that kind of enviroment. Saw so many trees with 40' to 50' straight trunks, no limbs tell the top, WOW! A wood cutters heaven. Here in Kansas I spend as much time limbing as cutting rounds.
I would probably give up my Hedge & Mulberry, just to be able cut that straight trunk stuff.

Osage, this is because the trees are so much more scattered in your area. I expect most of them would be like what we get if we cut in a fence row. The wind can play tricks with the grain and they also will have many more limbs. That is the nice thing about cutting inside the woods line; fewer limbs.
