Some will remember I've mentioned my buddy who has told me I can have any down trees in his woodlot. This is different from the 6 acre lot I just scored from FB. Here's a few pics from of what I've cut over the past few weeks. I've only spent an hour or so a day.

Here's one I missed. There's a mix of walnut, ash, beech, hard maple, and some others I can't ID.

I'm passing on all the punky stuff. I'll take a test cut and if it's bad I walk away. We can drive right up to most of it to split and leave the trash in the woods. It's a great deal.
