Looks like ash to me. And yes, this is the forum to ask. From photos our IDs are not as good as they'd be in person, but sometimes they can help you figure something out.

Wood cutting permit on state land... I think I know them all but some hard to identify occasionally... Pretty good deal... $25.00 for 3 truck loads.. Mostly hickory and oak and you can drive right up to it
