Split some and tells us what it smells like. I am leaning toward black birch but would like more info.

You can scrape a little bark from the twigs and sniff too. Wintergreen = black birch, almond = cherry.

I agree with Lakeside looks like black birch from what i can see. My favorite wood that i have on my property.

That is black birch. I am 10,000 percent sure.
Great firewood enjoy.
 
I think black birch too though I'm not as sure as Ctwoodtick, pin cherry would have a reddish brown tint and I dont see that.
 
I'm also leaning black birch.
