Does anyone know the brand of stove this is? In Canada, not having a Certification label deems a wood burning appliance uncertified. This appliance has it's serial number intake but I have not been able to confirm which brand it is, in order to confirm possible clearances. If I can confirm the brand I can make a note of it and leave it up to the insurance company to decide. Thank you

Looks like it may be a Century S244. The firebrick pattern and baffle design may help with verification.

it actually looks identical to my stove. Mine is a 1991 Haughs Campbell Elite S14XE

Which was bought by Century, Correct?

In Canada you'll need a WETT inspection. I would recommend contacting the local inspector and talking to them so that you get the clearances correct. Even if you know what stove it is, without the sticker, they may insist it is still unlisted.

Yes, Haugh was bought by Century, though with some changes. And Century was bought by SBI.

The clearances for the S244 are shorter than for the Haugh S14XE in spite of the family resemblance. It's going to take a more detailed inspection of the stove to determine possible make and model. Unfortunately, I don't have any Haugh manuals to help.

I don't either. The only thing I got with my stove was a sales sheet/ brochure and a receipt. And I can't find either one, though I'm pretty sure they're in my filing cabinet.

I guess we could do some measurement comparisons?

Agree

and yes

Stepped/split top and tapered ash lip are not 244. Otherwise very similar appearance/size.
