Let me know if it trips out...that seems to be my biggest problem. There is a temperature sensor attached to a cooling fin.
I have a new one still in the box that I will hook up sometime. I know you can side mount them, but I have to look up which side the glow plug needs to be (up or down)

Ran for over 2 1/2 hours with no lockouts/trip outs on maximum output. Just shut it off

Set up some pallets. 10’ L 4’ H 36” deep. Red Oak, Birch, Apple, and some cherry in there. Have to finish a few more rounds of apple and get through the last of the old and part punk red oak rounds I have. May make a roof of sorts for it, if not I’ll cover the top with a heavy tarp.

Chestnut Oak is a White oak i believe! "The King"
Yes, Chestnut Oak is in the White Oak Family. This one is on a farm near my house and blew over in a storm back in the fall. Perfect scenario for collecting firewood...edge of wood line, easy access, and level ground. When you scrounge for free wood, you take what you can get and sometimes they fall right in your lap and even better...its oak!

Haven't done much of anything wood related. The demotivation factor is weighing in on me.....again.
Worked with the "nephew" on his siding job. Not my cup of tea. Builder doesn't want me there. Nephew no longer has workers comp. I explained I'm self employed and it's not needed. Builder's still weirded by it. Fine with me. I hate vinyl anyways. Now he owes me 4wks room and board, and 2 days work. Tired of supporting all here.

Oh well, will be out today moving wood. The lair is low again. Might as well swing the Fiskaris some too.

Not wood related but…

Installed a 8kW diesel heater in my garage. Tired of working in there freezing my butt off doing side jobs. Had to clean this area and build a small shelf for it. Had a “bookcase” type shelf that I disposed of that had paints and all kinds of random stuff there long before we bought the house. Very old stuff that I finally had an excuse to get rid of.

Found a Facebook Group

and the little meter you can add

I can monitor current and power on my app via battery BMS but that is pretty cool! It’s ran for over 6 hours total on high , with 2% battery used.
I recently just installed one of those on my sump pump battery charger. I had a little voltmeter of the same type on there, but wanted to watch what the battery charger was outputting in float ect. You could switch to a smaller cheap sealed lead acid battery and a small charger if you want. I'd like to have your battery for my camper or pellet stove.

I use it for our camper during the camping season. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made for it. It’s a 200aH lithium ion battery

Thursday I got one side of a batch of deck boards sealed in the basement along with some odds and ends accomplished. Yesterday was a snow clearing day again and some shopping done. Today after church the missus' helped me rip some boards thr the radial arm saw in the danged cold, but not as cold as it's about to get...

This week I'll be feeding the fireplace a lot, seal some more deck boards, add some jamb extensions, clean the existing extensions, and hopefully get a start on clear coating.
