Hello all, inspection Thursday evening, then 1st startup. Can I expect a smokey start, burn off, open all windows etc. like I got on my P61A?

Thanks

Some smoke, probably not quite as bad. The P61 gives off a lot of radiant heat with paint curing burns to perform etc., the XXV is almost all convection if not all convection heat. Are you adding a stove or replacing a stove ?

Thanks, I'll post a pic of it running tomorrow.

Nice looking set up! I already understand why you would buy another Harman. Just bought mine and installed it Sat. 10/18. I can not express how happy I am to this point. My wife is even happier which is added value in my mind. She hates the cold! I did have some burn off with my P68. No idea what the XXV will do. I would think it would not given the nice exterior finish. You might experience a small amount if there is oil or something inside or elsewhere from the manufacturing process and it being new. I bet it will be minimal vs. the 61 and 68's. Let us know. Only one true way to find out ........ fire it up!

No smoke at all really, only a smell.
