Just curious because every pic I see of everyone's stove, the ash lip and hearth are so clean. No bits of bark or ash on the lip below the door. Kinda like cleaning the house before company comes over, LOL
My 13 is in the man cave, I don't sweat the ash on the lip or bits of bark laying around to much. Only touched the glass up once this season, mine stays pretty clean.
My hearth is always dirty(well almost) with wood debris, I don't clean it nearly as much as I should. The glass is always pretty dirty, it's a Blaze King so we know it'll be dirty, I don't get much ash out of the stove since it's 6 inches deep below the door.
I gota say that is beautiful.
I just did my kitchen/dinning area with laminate ..natural oak/high gloss.
I like mine but I'm jealous of yours!
Sorry for the hi-jack to the op!
But it is a pic and there is wood involved! lol
I clean the hearth and ash lip after each reload - takes about 30 seconds and keeps my wife happy! My window stays very clean at this time of year when the draft is strong. During shoulder season, I get brown soot along the bottom corners. Cheers!
