They are another BC softwood. Similar too Okies-LeCretes-Spruce Pointes if you have tried them. The good stuff if you can afford them.

Really!!!!! Please tell me more! Woodpellets.com want $285 per ton, but they only deliver in 1.5 ton increments. My other choices are Barefoot, Energex and New England.

Somersets all out locally. Try stove chow from hd. Pretty good for the price.

Good pellet. But, as always, try 3-4 bags before buying a large quantity. If your Lowes up that way has any Greene Team, try them as well. I've had very good results w/ them.

I've been wanting to try the CleanFire's, because I burn LaCrete's and Oakies - but unfortunately, woodpellets.com will deliver them to Portland, ME but not to Augusta, ME (they only offer Homestead's for Augusta).

I burned two bags of cleanfires earlier this season. Nice but not sure if they're that much better than everything else I've been trying. I ended up getting a ton of Greene golds from the tsc in pine bush for 219. Same pellets as the greene team platinum thats sold by us for 5.20/bag.

Just jokin' around, I never see any of the pellets mentioned in pellet brand threads on this site.

I guess they are all regional brands, that they just don't have in the pacific northwest.

I tried a few bags of the Greene Teams, but I didn't seem to have great luck with them. I think I'll go with Barefoots, unless someone has a better brand in mind.

Every try Turmans? Good pellet IMHO. Might be able to score slightly cheapier than BF. BF are top dollar pellets in my area. Not saying their bad, Just pricey!

What else you got in your area?

Have you tried Cleanfire Hardwood? I have been burning them for 3 years now. They burn well in my PB105 and J1000. Has anyone compared them to all the others that I here mentioned here? I burned 25 bags of Vermont Pellet softwoods the last couple weeks and they burned really hot with very low ash. You gotta pick them up yourself though because they do not have vendors in NY.

Tractor supply. The Greene golds and the Greene team platinum are the same pellets.

I've pretty much tried everything you've tried. the green golds were my favorite. The stow chow is pretty good ( it's rebagged presto). I've run through about ten bags of cheat river too. There's a lot of stuff around. You're just going to have to experiment.

My mistake. Meant to say stow chow and fireside ultras were the same brand. They just come from different mills.
