    I'm staying positive because I saw two different M55's that WERE silent...no auger noise whatsoever. The only thing I could hear was the swish of the blowers and the sound of pellets plinking into the pot. I think Enviro either got a bad batch of auger motors, changed manufacturers or the manufacturer changed something. Now, if every M55 I have watched and listened to made this noise, I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place.
