A friend of mine would like to know if it is possible for one flue to service two wood stove. He knows it is not legal for solid and liquid fuel appliances. But what about two wood appliances?

The exceptions are only when a unit has been tested this way. For instance, there ARE units which burn oil and wood that are legal to put into one chimney (they are central heaters).
