I am certain everyone here knows what pellet smells the best, if no one has mentioned it.

I like Dry Creeks the best. Someday I hope to huff the premium brand...

    Okanagan, NOT!

I love the smell of the Turman's I'm currently burning. They smell like the nice kiln dried oak from the flooring they are made from. Hot and smell great - hard to beat. :)

Eureka's did smell nice. Best pellet the Wallyworld near me ever had! Haven't smelled the Orfords yet. I will pretty soon!

Yep, Wally World. $174! The lightest, almost non existent, ash pellet I've burned. They had Future Fuel as well. I THINK they were Eurekas econo pellet.

JT, are you seeing the Orford softwoods down there?

I got a special delivery from Pat at CJ's Pellet Depot to try/test/sample. Not all that close, but if they are as good as some say. I might, I just might take a run. ;)

Our wallyworld dumped the Eureka's for Future Fuel(yuk) and Bio Heat(fair). Now its all penningtons grass seed or food maybe?

Ya, WW up here has Pennington seed pellets and Maine's Choice. What an unfortunate 360. Still trying to figure out if the Orford soft was just a limited run or if they haven't updated their site in a while and are still shipping them.

Hamers for me, they smell just like oak wood flooring. I will stand outside for a few extra minutes just to enjoy the aroma. I have never tried any softies, yet but I probably will later this winter just to see how they burn for me in my stove.

In all seriousness, good question. I just told my wife the other day I liked the scent of my red pine softies. Just got another ton today and my garage smells wonderful. During the holiday season I kept a bag open in the family room where my "artificial" tree was. Amazing!

If you smell anything burning you got a exhaust leak, otherhand if you smell them raw out of the bag that's different, need a fresh ton to smell anything, all i got is seasoned 3 yr old somerset's and they dont smell!!
