Got the 271 stihl with 20" bar. Anybody else have one? I tried it out a little and it seemed pretty strong. Can't wait until it cools off some to really break it in.

Go ahead, hot weather won't hurt it. ;)

I probably will. I can't help myself. Neighbor has a standing dead read oak with bark falling off I've been waiting to cut. Not supposed to be but in the lower 90's this weekend. That'll feel like fall the way it's been here lately==c
We just broke a 119 year old record with 30 consecutive days above 95°

Yeah, I saw that. Not bad at all here for the next several days. Almost feels like fall with mid-80s and lower RH, so I'm working on my SILs' stacks. Trying to get them ahead on quick-dry for 2016 so I can have them start splitting and stacking all the Oak that's lying around for subsequent years. Been thinking of getting a mid-range saw like yours but maybe I'll settle for getting the old 039 running; It's a little lighter than the 460, and definitely more maneuverable with the 20" bar. Won't have to lay out much cash that way... ==c

I have that saw with an 18" bar. I love it. The only bad thing I'll say about it is the oiler isn't the greatest. I don't think it keeps up well enough so if you are cutting for a lengthy amount of time and need to change chains I'd recommend keeping a can of air handy and blowing out the channel in the bar.

I'll keep that in mind thanks
