Hello,
I installed my stove last year and have gotten a bit rusty on the rules since then. I have all the clearances with plenty to spare. Curious if shiplap is allowed on my walls? Currently the stove pipe goes through the finished drywall behind the stove and into the garage and up and out. Can I ship lap up to and tuck under the thimble flange? Or should I just run the shiplap up close to the round thimble leaving some drywall exposed?
Thanks!
