yah your right about the way the auger is only staying at a 2-2 ratio. does sound like tstat issue, but my auger motor caused the exact same issue when it went bad. It would get hot or something and then cut out or only run so much. Only way i could up the feed ratio was to change the upper end PPH count, but even then it was sketchy. Found out real soon that it wasnt the board and infact the motor due to it totally crapping out one night about 2am. lol

It could be the motor, I just want him to check out that TSTAT before he goes buying a motor. Cheaper fix!

I don't know how many times I've seen people buy all kinds of stuff, almost spending enough for a new stove and then it's something simple, something everyone has over looked. That's why when someone is new to these stoves I never over look what they are thinking, it might just be something so simple that everyone else over looks it. Fresh eyes and brain sometimes is better than experience in trouble shooting.
 
yah and hell of it is, most of components in the stove OTHER THAN THE BOARD, can be had for WAY less then what US stove charges.
