Hello all, i have a couple of questions, does anyone know the factory settings for the bottom 3 buttons on an Englander 25-PDVC/55SHP10? i had them set last night at 461 and it was running ok, i had heat on 3 and blower on 3, had room, 800 sqf at 69* when it was 40* i have heard people say setting are 641
( not sure if this is correct), so i changed it to that ( 641) and since it has been going through pellets a lot faster, i am pretty sure its down to the LFF being raised from a 4 to a 6 but also it has started to rumble, not an earth shaking rumble, is this down to me turning the LBA down from a 6 to a 4?, my ( not sure what its called, adjustable plate in bottom of hopper) is wide open which i know will save me pellets, i am just trying to tinker with the LFF and LBA to see which is best, i know last button on right should always be a 1, so my rumbling started after turning LBA down does this sound correct? obviously i am a pellet stove dunce, any help would be welcome, especially the factory settings for bottom 3, thank you !! oh i almost forgot the manufacture date is 08/09.

The factory settings for the pdvc is 541 that is what ESW stove tech Mike Holten told me. Now thats a starting place to tweak things. If you were happy with the performance and heat at 461 then by all means use those settings. I had mine set to 421 last year in my office and it worked great. I have since sold that stove and im regretting it lol

Thank you.. do you know anything about the rumbling starting after turning the Low Burn Air down from 6 to a 4? It was not rumbling at a 6 but was at 4.. does that make sense to you? Thanks!

Are you using an OAK? It may be the combustion air going through the stove.

It may also be the harmonics of the blower motors. One or both. Have you taken them out and blow all the dust bunnies out of the squirrel cage and blades on both motors

I am going to give it a good cleaning tomorrow, like i said it is fine with the LBA on 6, but when i turned it to 4 it started, only now and then and only a slight rumble

Cool, let us know how you make out
