That's a very nice Harman you got over there. Have fun burning. Are they going to install the fan covering?

How's your wood? You get fantastic heat with nice and dry hardwood. I didn't have the most dry wood when I get mine, but I'm ahead this season.

Deep and hot coal bed and you're golden.

10-4 on the deep coal bed. Without one that down draft beauty won't like ya.

I think Harman is not an all weather or all location stove compared to the cat stoves. It requires hot burn with hot coal bed and people often don't need that in the shoulder season. But on the other hand, having the house at 75 with outside 0 below and run that for 14+ hours is what Harman built for. It takes more finesse to work the Harman and I kinda like that. To each is own.

Been here ten years and have no feeling that there are a lot of Harman haters. Fun banter about them in the pellet room and people have some problems when they don't pay attention to how you have to operate the downdraft wood stoves but lots of people loving their TL series wood stoves and Exception inserts.
