EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm talking about Stove Pipe (in the house - pre chimney).
If I run my stove pipe straight up where we'd like to put it, I'll hit a truss dead center. To clear the truss I'll need to move to the right by about 6" and I'd like to do this near the ceiling support box using a pair of 45 elbows.
Can I use 2-45's right at the ceiling support box and be up to code? This would put the support box and chimney clear of the truss and also put the stove where we want it (about 6" left of our front door). But before I do anything I want to make sure all is well with that plan.
So basically straight up from stove (double wall stove pipe) then 45 over and 45 up for about 6" of chimney offset to the right of the stove. Any trouble with this idea?
