The sun is out with a nice wind up here with a temp of 67.8.I’d love for it to dry out.
We might be in for some real heavy rains on Thursday, is your area in for the same? Was raining a half hour ago here.
From what I've read this morning, just under 0.75 of an inch of rain with 30 mph wind gust. That could change tomorrow if we get some warnings.I’m really hoping we get some sun in between the rain drops. The gardens need it!
I’m at a wrestling tournament in Indianapolis at the moment. There was a tornado watch and they threw all the kids and supporting adults out of the building and into the storm.
I’m sure they thought, if they’re not in the building and a tornado hits we won’t get sued! Well, throw 3 teams of high school girls from 50 states out into that weather and have everybody sitting in vehicles in your parking lot when the tornado hits. They’re still going to get sued, lol. Luckily the storm passed with nothing but rain, lightning, and wind.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch just went up on NOAA for this area until 9 tonight.Stay safe!
A cold front came through last night, we had 54 this morning. It dumped some pretty good rains on us with some winds that knocked out power for some. That's brutal, and it's only mid-June. We are the opposite for the moment. The high will not be over 65º for the next couple of days. The good news is we may get some showers and really need them. Our lawn is brown and dormant, looks more like August than June.
The Brook will be real cold but the deerfly are horrible. Years back the wife was by the Brook when she saw a coyote coming down the hill on the other side, when it got down to the Brook, it took a drink and then went back up the hill.Looks to me the spot to be is the middle of the lake. That’s reasonable.
