Lots of folks want to build a shed and have asked for plans. Here is a set courtesy the Makah nation here in WA and posted by the EPA. They get a ton of rain out on the coast so a wood shed is almost mandatory there. Actually it should be everywhere. Dry wood rules.

I build 4x5x16 for around 100.00 each and will hold right at 2 1/2 cord

Weak for snow load. For just rain it'd probably be fine.

roof weak for snow load and wouldnt last through first storm winds i get at the ranch. it would act like a sail and get ripped off for sure.

It took a team of 15 EPA employees a full month and $250,000 to produce that.
They could have done better, but the budget just wasn't there to bring in the outside consulting firm.

Sad thing is that's probably not much of an exaggeration.

Total exaggeration. As it says the Makah's designed it and donated the plans.

Actually, BB, if you consider how much they make tax-free in their casino at 82 Resort Dr Neah Bay, WA, I'd say we still overpaid for their crappy wood shed plan.

I like the concept, I would make it larger, I'd like at least 2 cords under roof and maybe beef up the roof a bit for when we get a snowy period.
