The America class is a bit off too.

I cant find anything on the Halsey, other than it was one of the family names. If it's the top listing, yeah, I think they should have stayed with wood hulls.
 
Halsey was Nat's Herreshoff's grandson, worked mostly in fiberglass , had a few ugly designs. I don't mind the cat boats, they're cute in and ugly duckling sort of way.
