well if you buy a 4k stove and need a 20 ft flue you are going to be real close to that 7 g's and likely over that if you are not doing the installation.
I have to run 30 ft to get past the peak of my home from the basement- that is apx $2500 just in flue pieces.

With pellet fuel so expensive, how can I justify installing a new stove? My electric bill is roughly 325 a month in the winter-pretty much the same pellet fuel price per ton. Please someone talk me into it. I’ve had stoves in the past and love them, but not sure I can justify the 7k up front.

Take that $7k and put it towards solar panels.
