So I just started my third year burning my Summit insert. I have to say my wood is finally good. It so simply to start and maintain the fire with dry wood. Heats up fast too. I burn about 5 cords a year and next years has been drying since summer. I think I am ahead enough now to keep the good wood flowing. This site is great. Lots of knowledge.
