Hello

Pellet stove was out and then re-ignited and burned the house? Very Strange!

A house fire in Kirkwood Tuesday night.

And it might have started with a wood pellet stove.

The fire was reported shortly before 8pm, at 145 Trim Road.

Responders included fire companies from Kirkwood, Conklin, 5-Mile Point and Great Bend.

Kirkwood's fire chief says according to the owners, the fire in the pellet stove looked like it was out when they left in the morning, but then it reignited.

Everyone got out safely and there were no injuries reported.
