Just to put some thought in the direction of what happened that day. Not to start spats, arguement's, or to hinder the memories of any ones loved ones who passed from the actions of that day.

It was a sad, sad day.

The morning radio show I normally listen to, which is typically pretty brash and crude, did a 5 minute section of just news clips and audio bits from 2001 this morning. I was in tears as I pulled into the parking garage.

God bless America.

We visited the 911 memorial last Nov.......reality really sets in when you see the magnitude of what took place. So sad!! And very hard to not get angry

God Bless this beautiful country

Here is a pic of a Bay Crane doing clean up! This is most likely My brother in the cab of Crane and may well be another brother in the excavator. Cleaning up what my Grandfather, Father and My other brother built!

I have so many more. I have photos of the twins and the no.7(Father and brother) being built the first time. I have photos of two other brothers during the clean up after.
.
I have worked with many different trades. It is amazing how being part of this site in any way will bring the toughest grown man to his knees at some point of the long shifts of reconstruction.
Much pride for all on this site.
Most all people I have talked with have some connection to this site. It is amazing!

9/11/2001 Never Forget

Day that will never be forgotten. I had spent six months putting together a new business and was making my first sales call. To the fire department in Stafford, Virginia. 39 miles South of the Pentagon. Heard about the first tower on the radio in the in the parking lot, and under my breath said "That (#$%@&^ Bin Laden", and walked into the firehouse. The TV was on and the one went into the Pentagon. The Chief looked at me and I said "Saddle up and go.". They did.

Took 14 hours to find out if my friend and next door neighbor that was in the E Ring of the Pentagon was still alive. His desk was 180 feet from where the plane came in and it took his ears weeks to stop ringing.

I started 9/11 this year with a transatlantic flight. Yep... the events of that day were on my mind. Sorry for anyone who lost a loved one that day. Living in the NE, we all know at least one or two families directly affected.
