This is what can move in if the liner that was installed is a bit long.

Here’s how we evicted them. Look at the tall flue, you can see a round circle where the terra cotta liner should be. That’s a 1 way door. It allows the bat to leave on its own and not get back in. We installed another one where the chimney and soffit meet (upper side) to make sure nobody had taken up residence in there too. We used 2x4 pieces to hold the liner vertical and still enough to install the 1 way. They were removed after we were sure the bats were gone.

And that’s Al on the roof. He was enjoying the great weather, lol.
