Hi everyone,
In windy days, my wood burner makes a lot of noise, it sounds almost like a hoover. Doing some checks, I noticed that there is a lot of air suction at the “clip-on”bottom lid at the back of of the stove. I removed this lid and does not have any type of seal at all. Should this lid have a air tight seal? I was thinking of buying some fire proof webbing and put it around the lid in the inside. This will make it air tight and will stop the hoovering noise!?? However, I’m not sure if this lid it is supposed to be as it is for a reason?
Any thought will be highly appreciated!

many thanks
