As an extra sealing step can you use the permeated high temp sealant to seal the outside of the door glass. Having issues getting the glass to be airtight with the new seal .
 
High temp silicone? I looked up permeated, what is it?
 
Sorry spell check. I meant to say high temp permatex gasket maker .
 
I don't think it's rated high enough temp wise. I'd redo the gasket.

Some stoves are meant to have glass leaking to help with air wash to help keep the glass cleaner.
