I have a fireplacextrordinair apex 42. My question is running the fan on high or low or somewhere in the middle more beneficial? If you run it on high then the box (steel) cools faster and pulls more air into the blower. What do guys recommend? I'm heating my 2200sq ft house only with this.

When I was an installer for hearth products, I always recommended to the customers that they start with a Medium blower setting to see if that would get them the amount of air movement they needed. If it was too much, it could be turned down. If it wasn’t enough, it could be turned up. Every situation is different & you just have to adjust as needed…
Thanks for your info. I'm more interested in if the blower is on high it's pulling lots of air maybe cool air from the rest of the house and possibly not letting the hot air reach??
