We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
The installation followed NFPA 211 Standard.

It would no longer be legal to install in the state of NY without a UL tag.

Most states have adopted the International Family of Codes which the Mechanical Code requires all appliances to be UL Listed with UL label attached.

Operation is starting fire with air open, flue damper if equipped to control chimney open. Slowly close intake damper as it comes up to temp using a thermometer about 18 inches above stove on single wall pipe. Set air to maintain proper temperature as shown on thermometer burning zone. Only use flue damper for an over drafting chimney. It is a chimney control that affects the stove, not a stove control.

The object burning any older stove is maintaining flue temp above 250*f to the chimney top while smoke is present.
