Avalon 900pi stove . Any good??

I'm in the market to buy a pellet insert this season and have came across a avalon 900pi insert for 250$. guy says it works great. Any good? I would be using it to heat around 1300 sq ft ..

I redid one a year ago for my brother in law. He paid $500 and it was a freestanding unit. I think it came out good but I did have to totally clean it out, fans, exhaust etc. Lots of rust removed, gaskets changed and repainting. Mine looked as
